About
What is B3Bond?
B3Bond is a longer lasting and significantly more cost-effective stabilising option than conventional methods. B3Bond has been applied in the construction of rural and industrial roads, and various other commercial applications across the world.
Reliable roads, dirt cheap
When integrated into clay, silt, sand and gravel materials, B3Bond creates a semi-flexible and non-porous/water-repellent pavement that hardens with oxygen and has been proven to remain intact and stable through extreme weather conditions, including heavy rains and high-temperatures, without excessive maintenance over long periods. B3Bond products or capping layers are applied using traditional road building methods and are constructed in a fraction of the time.
B3BOND ROADS DON’T COST THE EARTH – THEY USE IT
B3Bond drastically reduces the need to extract and transport foreign materials by using in-situ soil to create the road surface. As a result, the cost of utilising B3Bond is a fraction of the cost of traditional road construction methods. B3Bond presents an exciting opportunity for developing countries to construct cost-effective, sustainable roads for more rural and remote communities.
B3Bond Background
ENGINEERED IN THE WORLD’S TOUGHEST LABORATORY
B3Bond began development of the ISB products in 1996, seeking alternatives to the ineffective and extremely expensive conventional methods of dust suppression and road stabilisation. The product was developed to deal with difficult soil compositions as well as hot, dry, and tropical environmental conditions and heavy load capacities.
Following 18 years of in-depth research, thorough testing and extensive application, B3Bond products are now used extensively by national, state and local governments, civil construction, mining, and primary production industries and major construction companies worldwide.
